"Full House" star Jodie Sweetin has endured her fair share of child-star tribulations, but things are definitely looking up for her now. Sweetin's long time boyfriend Morty Coyle with whom she has one daughter, Beatrix (5 months), proposed to her at her 29th birthday party at Los Angeles spot The Kibitz Room.
"It was a complete surprise," Sweetin, who has been married twice before, tells People mag. "We are just thrilled and I am in shock still!"
Her ring is described as a "2½-carat oval sapphire, surrounded by 18 diamonds in a snowflake shape." Don't expect it to be accompanied by a wedding band any time soon, though. Like many other celebrity couples, Sweetin and Coyle don't intend to marry until equal marriage rights have been granted to all people in California.
Coyle's IMDB credits include a brief role on "Beverly Hills, 90210" in 1998 and a handful of composing credits as well. Today, he works as a popular club DJ in Los Angeles. Coyle has supported Sweetin in her battle with alcohol and crystal meth.
