Stores and Restaurants Open on Christmas 2010 – Today is Christmas Day 2010 and most stores are closed for it is a Holiday. Are you wondering what stores and restaurants are open today as we celebrate Christmas Day 2010? I believe this is the case for many. Unfortunately, most big stores such as Walmart, Target, Kmart, Old Navy and Toys R Us are closed for business today. However, they were open on Christmas Eve and you should have bought your items before their closing hours. Right now, if you really want to buy something in these stores, the best way to do it is through online shopping. These stores are typically open daily even during holidays.
Winters which we met during our store roundup is a certified shopaholic and one of those people who are really sad about various stores closing today said: “I hope that stores open on Christmas Day the same way they do during Thanksgiving but oh well, I guess they really need to rest and take a time off.”
However, for several of you just like Winters, don’t despair because we have scouted various stores across the United States and we found some stores and restaurants open on Christmas Day 2010. If you’re the coffee lover, then you would be happy to know that Starbucks stores are open on Christmas Day 2010 depending on your location. Some IHOP as well as Dunkin Donuts stores will also be open on Christmas Day 2010. Those Dunkin Donuts stores which will remain open will operate from 6am to 1pm. We have also received some news that some MacDonalds stores will remain open on today’s Christmas Day. For convenience stores, all 7-11 outlets will be open today.
Other stores that opens today includes Walgreens locations across the country and many CVS locations. Depending on location, some will be 24 hours. Winn Dixie stores will also be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Christmas Day 2010, but their pharmacies will be closed. Meanwhile, restaurants open on Christmas 2010 are Chef Lee, Imperial Cathay Chinese Restaurant and Cheng’s Garden. Other stores could be open locally too so it’s best to check your local listings or call individual stores near you to be sure.
