Star Wars: The Old Republic 'Beta Test Weekends' begin in September

In addition to announcing special editions of varying fanciness levels, BioWare and EA also have some news about when some of us will be able to play Star Wars: The Old Republic. Starting in September, the developer will hold "Beta Test Weekends," allowing "selected players" to check out the game early.

If you're interested -- and about a million and a half people were as of March -- you can sign up at the website. If you're not interested, you can just wait until this holiday season; that's the most recent launch window for the full game. Then again, that information probably isn't very relevant to you, seeing as how you're so disinterested.
