Furthur to jam at North Charleston Coliseum

Bassist Phil Lesh and guitarist Bob Weir may be best known for their long run with the Grateful Dead, but they’ve embarked on numerous side projects over the years as well. Furthur is one of their collaborations. The ensemble explores some of the Dead’s most beloved material, adding a few new twists to old songs.

Furthur recently announced a winter tour that brings them to the North Charleston Coliseum on Sat. April 2. According to a recent press release, the tour “promises to keep the feet stomping and the bodies shaking.” The lineup features keyboardist Jeff Chimenti (of RatDog), drummer Joe Russo (Benevento-Russo Duo, Trey Anastasio), guitarist John Kadlecik (Dark Star Orchestra), and vocalists Sunshine Becker and Jeff Pehrson.
