Forget Batman -- Keira Knightley might be getting to hang with Edward Cullen (take that, Anne Hathaway, in all your "Dark Knight Rises" goodness).
Knightley reportedly has been tapped to replace Marion Cotillard opposite Robert Pattinson in David Cronenberg's futuristic bank thriller "Cosmopolis." Cotillard had been confirmed as the film's female lead and RPattz's love interest -- he joined the cast the first week of January -- but baby news from the French beauty days later put a new spin on things, like the fact that she'll probably have a major bump by the time Pattinson finishes filming "Breaking Dawn."
"Cosmopolis" production company Alfama Films has thrown Knightley's headshot up on its website along with Pattinson's as the film's lead actors, Hollywood Life observes.
Not a bad consolation, considering Knightley lost out on the role of Catwoman to Hathaway in Christopher Nolan's "Dark Knight Rises." But hey, who cares? Christian Bale's face doesn't sparkle in the sunlight.
