Rielle Hunter shopping book proposal

The ABC11 Eyewitness News I-Team has learned Rielle Hunter is shopping a book proposal to publishing company executives in New York.
People who have read a rough draft of the book say Hunter talks about her relationship with John Edwards but do not get into details about the scandal and the effort to cover up the affair. Hunter and Edwards met in New York and their affair led to a massive cover up, part of a scheme to protect his presidential campaign. Hunter and Edwards had a child from their relationship, a girl named Quinn.
Hunter testified about the affair when she met with a federal grand jury in Raleigh.
Until now, she has told her story to Oprah and GQ Magazine, but she has not tried to make money from her story.
There's no indication when or if the book will be published or how much money Hunter could make from telling her story.
Last week the U.S. Department of Justice gave the green light for Edwards to face criminal charges in connection with a campaign finance investigation.
Edwards is accused of using campaign donations to keep Hunter in hiding after she had their child.
