Tina Marie, famous R&B singer whose name is actually spelled Teena Marie, was confirmed dead yesterday at the age of 54 by her manager. Tina or Teena Marie had one of those voices that you would notice immediately and it carried her to fame in the 80′s. One of Teena Marie’s best hits “Lovergirl” is shown below in a You Tube Video. Teena Marie had a great career and was even a regular at the Hilton in Las Vegas. She was found this morning by her daughter and evidently died in her sleep. there is no immediate cause of death but sources tell CMR there is no foul play suspected. We spoke to a friend of Teena Marie and she said, “Tee was always the best and gave more of herself than she expected back.
