Did Bieber Fever get too hot... even for Justin Bieber?

Life & Style magazine is reporting that the 16-year-old singer was taken to the hospital while shooting scenes for his guest appearance on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" on Wednesday, Jan. 12.

Bieber was taken to Providence St. Joseph's Hospital in Burbank, Calif. at 7p.m., just as the cast and crew were beginning to wrap up on set. Bieber's rep confirms the hospital visit and was quick to report that the teen phenom is "fine now and back on set." Phew.

So what was plaguing the mop-topped teen? "He was having trouble breathing due to an allergic reaction," a source says. "His doctor met him there. He stayed at the hospital about 30 minutes and was discharged."

Bieber is reprising his role as a troubled kid, Jason McCann, who was involved in a group that rejected government authority, on the CBS hit show's Feb. 17 episode. He first appeared in the season premiere.
