Uh-oh. We don't like the sound of this!
Is that what they're calling alcohol poisoning these days?
As you well know, Charlie Sheen went missing yesterday for several hours in the early morn. Sources had reported seeing him living it up in Sin City over the weekend, but when it came time to start filming Two and a Half Men yesterday at 10 AM in El Lay, he was nowhere to found. Finally, his people discovered his whereabouts on the Strip and put him right on a plane back to the Sunshine State. That's the story we originally heard.
Now, here's the cock and bull story they're feeding to the press to cover the whole thing up.
According to Charlie's rep, the poor thing woke up with an "ear infection" yesterday morning and called in sick at the show. After waking up in pain, Charlie did the responsible thing and phoned a doctor to come check him out. He assured the producers that he'd be on set to start shooting as soon as the doctor was done with him. But wouldn't you know it, it took a bit longer than anyone could've imagine. Turns out, the doctor diagnosed him with a "severe ear infection," which we're sure kept Charlie bed ridden for several more hours.
And there you have it. The "truth" about how and why Charlie was so late to the CBS lot yesterday.
You never cease to amaze us, Charlie.
