Did Katie Price delay marriage split to get 'brilliant footage' for her TV show?

Katie Price's husband Alex Reid is just as clueless as the rest of us as to when his marriage will finally end.

Katie - aka Jordan - is reportedly dragging out the official announcement to benefit not only her family, but viewers of her new reality TV show, too.

'Katie holds all the cards and will decide when the marriage is over,' says a source.

'She and Alex have been dead and buried for weeks, but she didn't want them to split up before Christmas for the sake of the kids.

'But after signing a new reality TV deal with Living and Virgin Media, she's determined to give the viewers what they want - fireworks.

'By dragging out the marriage for a few more days, the crew have told her they'll get brilliant footage, mainly of Alex bewildered and in tears.'

Neglected cage fighter Alex returned to their marital home this week to find Katie had packed her bags and left for a couple of nights - taking the camera crew with her. 'She decided to make a last-minute visit to Birmingham to see a sick fan, but neglected to tell Alex,' the source tells the Daily Mirror.

'He read about it on Twitter.'

'Here I am with the beautiful gorgeous shauna quinn just popped in for a cuppa in birmingham xxxxx' Katie, 32, Tweeted.

'Shauna is a girl who went to starlight foundation and made her wish come true to meet me so I surprised shauna and turned up at her home x.'
